The professionalism exhibited by the EMH Team and their continued collaboration with the Mission’s Consular Section is highly commendable.”

THE CLIENT

Ghana Embassy in Belgium and Luxembourg represents the government of Ghana at the European Union, Brussels, and Luxembourg. The Mission objective is to promote the interest of Ghana, which include political, investment, trade, tourism etc.

THE CHALLENGE

The COVID-19 pandemic affected the work at the Ghana Embassy to Belgium and Luxembourg. The delivery of consular services which included passport and visa services was one most affected service because it was a face to face service. The Mission needed a system that will allow minimal contact with the public. It also required an excellent medium to share information about their services, activities as well as updates from Ghana.

WHY EAGLE

The Mission approached Eagle because of our unique expertise in offering creative content and tech solutions. We have a strong experience developing eCIMS our online consular solutions for other Ghana Missions, and well-grounded with our understanding of the African community in Europe.

SOLUTION

We consulted with the Mission to understand their operational systems and how they offered support to their customers. We used that information to develop a bespoke, fully integrated, secured online software that will allow applicants to make their consular services applications online. For those that needed to visit the Mission for consular services, we included an appointment feature that enables the Mission to set their safe quota on the number of applicants they can handle in a day. Our client support team assist applicants via live chat and email services.

We developed and launched a website for the Mission to allow them to communicate with their audience. We also created a Facebook and twitter page for the Mission

Our creative content team worked with the web team to produce tutorial videos on how to make an application, designed posters to announce the launch of the new System and had radio adverts some in local Ghanaian language targeting the Ghanaian community in Brussels and Luxembourg.

OUTCOME

Since launching the service for the Ghana Mission, our live chat and email attendants have responded to over 200 chats. The tutorial video produced for the Mission for YouTube has already received over 600views.
