Get to know our managing director at Eagle London Agency as he takes the spotlight seat in this month staff profile interview.

Q: Job Title?

Co-Founder and managing director.

Q: How long have you been with Eagle London Agency?

I have been with the agency since 2004.

Q: What drives you?

Our agency three key objectives drive me:

  1. 1. Supporting our community to own its story,
  2. 2. Empowering the upcoming generation from our community to gain access to the creative and tech sector,
  3. 3. Challenging organisations that are genuine about being inclusive to be bold and do things differently.

Q: What do you love most about working at Eagle London Agency?

The team. Our enthusiastic team of creatives and tech experts in our agencies in London, Accra and Kochi inspire me.

Q: What makes you passionate about this agency?

I am passionate about the values of this agency. This passion has deepened over the years, seeing the impact it has made in our communities and our clients.

Q: What are your hobbies?

I love to be involved in speaking engagements that allow me to share my thoughts on diversity and inclusion. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about their culture. As an avid Christian, I like to get involved in supporting activities at my local church and sit on the advisory boards of several community organisations. Aside these, I volunteer as a student mentor at the University of East London, and support students who attend the CV Clinic at the annual London Law Fair organised by the Law Society.

Q: Where is your go-to place to relax?

I will say spending time with family, listening to religious and business audiobooks, playing the bass guitar and the violin.

Q: Where is your go-to place to have fun?

Travelling and socialising with likeminded people over beer. My work takes me around the world, which is always fun. It also allows me to experience how different cultures express their creativity.

Q: What is the environment like at Eagle London Agency?

We do have fun here, but at the same time, each team member knows their responsibilities and the high stake we need to maintain to ensure we deliver the best. In short, we are flexible but work hard.

Q: What fun things have you done so far at Eagle?

Wow!!! How do I sum up all the fun activities we have had for over a decade here at Eagle?

For the technology team, it was fun working with them in 2008 to develop our eCIMS web application software for the Ghana Mission in the UK. The fun side of this project is the fact that it involves every division of the agency.

Our video content production division has undertaken many fun projects, some of which has gotten us filming in remote areas in Africa, travelling across Europe, and meeting great people. Working with our production team on a documentary in Ghana on the Oral History of the Akosombo Hydro Electric Dam (A Hydro Electric Dam in Ghana whose construction in 1961 resulted in the creation of the largest man-made lake in the world) was an exciting one.

The networking events hosted by our agency is another fun activity looked forward to by the entire team. These events attract quality speakers and guests. It also allows us to have open and frank discussions on diversity and inclusion and other current topics.

Q: What advice would you give someone wanting to join our agency?

To be a part of the Eagle team, you must be genuinely passionate about what we stand for and what we do. We like people who are confident about who they are and ready to challenge the norm and deliver their best.

Q: Whats one tip you think everyone should know about this agency?

We are a professional creative and tech agency with the capability to deliver projects that match the quality of any mainstream agency. What makes us different from other agencies is that we bring where needed, a different perspective to our strategic approach and delivery by ensuring it is inclusive and embrace diversity.
