TajRiba Afrika

The Client

TajRiba is a UK based events team set up to promote African Caribbean Culture in communities across the UK. The objective of TajRiba is to organise fun and educational events that will promote cultural diversity within the UK. TajRiba’s aim is to offer the general public a unique experience of the African Caribbean Culture through a variety of arts, crafts, cultural dance, and cuisine.

The Challenge

To achieve its objectives, TajRiba sought a diverse communications agency to handle its branding, PR, social media and marketing to effectively promote its activities and events on all platforms. Fitting their criteria, Eagle London Agency was appointed to implement and manage a total communications strategy for TajRiba.

The Solution

The Eagle creative team met with the management and staff at TajRiba to better understand the organisation and its culture. Following our consultation, we proposed a short to midterm strategy as listed below.

  • Branding: With a deep understanding of the roots of TajRiba our creative design team designed a new logo for them.
  • PR: We proposed for the client to host an event so that press releases and other news articles written about them to raise awareness.
  • Event: With the client’s budget in mind, we negotiated with Horsham Council to be part of the annual summer street festival dubbed The Big Nibble event. Our events team then assisted TajRiba plan and manage the event.
  • Social Content: As part of our communications strategy for TajRiba, Eagles video production team produced promotional and profile videos for the client. These videos were promoted on various digital platforms. On the day of the event the Eagle video production team were also on site to film and produce a short documentary for the client.

The Outcome

Our integrated communications strategy positioned TajRiba to have a busy 2017 summer season. As a young company founded in 2016, TajRiba has managed to position itself with a clear story to offer the general public and a unique experience of the African Caribbean Culture through a variety of arts, crafts, cultural dance and cuisine
