Welcome to our Team Member Spotlight! The spotlight that allows you to find out more about the dynamic people who make up our great Eagle team. This month we sat down with Gilbert Gyambibi in a rapid-fire Q&A; it’s safe to say that he did not hold back.
Gilbert joined our nest in March and has quickly grown his Eagle wings as an Account Executive on key projects with clients such as Paul Robinson Solicitors and Dentsu Aegis. Originally from Ghana, West Africa, he has settled in well at Eagle London Agency and has become a key member of our team.
Here is what he had to say under the spotlight…
Q: Job Title?
A: Account Executive
Q: How long have you been with Eagle London Agency?
A: Since March 2019. I first started as an intern and proved myself worthy for a permanent contract.
Q: What drives you?
A: I enjoy providing great service in all that I do. When handling projects, I enjoy catering to both parties and ensuring that their visions are aligned and executed correctly. Ultimately, bringing satisfaction to my team and our client is what drives me most.
Q: What do you love most about working at Eagle London Agency?
A: Despite being the youngest in the Eagle office, I love that I am treated with respect and my opinions are valued equally to everyone else. Also, our sense of humour are quite similar; so, there is never a dull moment in the office.
Q: What makes you passionate about this business?
A: I love that this is an agency that strives to raise awareness about the importance of diversity in the media industry. While we are skilled at helping BAME businesses break into the mainstream, we are also an international professional agency capable of undertaking mainstream projects to a high standard. Ultimately, this agency gives you the best of both worlds; this is something I am very proud of.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: I love travelling, going to the gym and swimming.
Q: Where is your go to place to relax?
Having a stroll in the park or just being out in nature.
Q: Where is your go to place to have fun?
A: Hanging out with friends or going to the gym usually does it for me.
Q: What is the environment like at Eagle London Agency?
A: It is very relaxed most of the time but often you will find us all bursting into laughter as we share jokes or banter with one another. There is also a very welcoming atmosphere and you’re made to feel comfortable right away.
Q: What fun things have you done so far at Eagle?
A: I have live streamed a conference at the Ghana High Commission. I have attended numerous fun but beneficial conferences. I have been involved in the rebranding of the agency’s position and worked on our new website with the strategy and creative team; this made me feel like I have been a part of the company from the very start. I have also acted as a model and a voice-over actor in some of our video production projects. At the moment, I am in charge of promoting our upcoming event ‘Diversity Is Not A New Word for Women’; It is going to be so rewarding seeing the outcome of all our hard work for this event.
Q: What advice would you give someone wanting to join our agency?
A: You must be confident, open-minded, creative, web-savvy and passionate about content. These are the main attributes you need to succeed at Eagle London Agency.
