The Client

Milton Hershey School based in Pennsylvania, USA, is one of the world’s best private schools, offering a top-notch education and positive home life to children in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade from families of lower income at no charge.

The Challenge

As part of the School’s international service/education and global awareness initiative, a group of 17 students and six adult staff members were to visit Ghana.  The visit was aimed at teaching the student’s civic responsibility, leadership, ethics, empathy, and collaboration, through participating in a variety of service-based activities while in Ghana.

The client required a content agency with understanding of international outlook to capture the visit on camera highlighting the experience and creating memories that will last them a lifetime.

Our Solution

EMH Global was awarded the contract to deliver this project because of our international and local experience, as well our in-depth understanding of the cocoa sector in Ghana.

Before embarking on the project we met with the client’s representatives in Ghana to discuss and develop a delivery strategy for the project. Following that we assigned our production crew to follow all the activities of the students in Ghana from arrival to departure.


We produced a 30minutes documentary on the visit capturing each unique moment, taking feedback from the students, their tutors and the members of the communities they visited and interacted with. The finalised video was used by the students for their presentations on the trip and has also been posted on the school’s website.
