TajRiba is a UK based events team set up to promote African Caribbean Culture in communities across the UK. The objective of TajRiba is to organise fun and educational events (Watch Video) that will promote cultural diversity within the UK. TajRiba’s aim is to offer the general public a unique experience of the African Caribbean Culture through a variety of arts, crafts, cultural dance and cuisine. 

The Challenge

To achieve its mission and objectives TajRiba needed to work with a communications agency that had understanding of diversity to take care of its branding, PR and marketing as well as social content to promote its activities and events on all platforms. EMH was appointed to implement and manage a total communications strategy for TajRiba.

Our Solution

The Agency team at EMH Global met with the management and staff at TajRiba to understand their organisation and culture. We also worked with them to outline their vision and mission. Following consultation we proposed a short to midterm strategy as listed below.

• Branding: With deep understanding of the roots of TajRiba our creative design team designed the logo

• PR: We proposed to client to host an event. This was aimed to give TajRiba an activity with which they could take opportunity to have press releases and other news articles written about them to raise awareness.

• Event: As an agency we strive to work within the client’s budget. EMH mindful of the client’s budget restriction, negotiated on behalf of client to partner with the Horsham Council to be part of the annual summer street festival dubbed The Big Nibble event. Our events team assisted TajRiba plan and manage the event.

• Social Content: As part of the communications strategy for TajRiba, EMH video production team produced different video content promoting and profiling client. These videos were promoted on various digital platforms. On the day of event the video production team were on site to film and produce a short documentary for the client

Outcome

Our integrated communications strategy has positioned TajRiba to receive a number of bookings for 2017 summer season. As a young company founded in 2016 TajRiba has managed to position itself with a clear story to offer the general public a unique experience of the African Caribbean Culture through a variety of arts, crafts, cultural dance and cuisine
